3.4 Select and use resources
Demonstrate knowledge of a range of resources, including ICT, that engage students in their learning.
As the excerpt from my practical report below supports I always investigate as many sources as possible when preparing units of work. Below are just a few examples of some ICT resources that I used as a Preferred Activity Time (PAT) activity as described by Jones (2000). This is a system that can benefit both the students and the teacher. The students are able to spend time having fun while learning after earning the privilege. The teacher has an incentive for the students to work hard and then can enjoy the activity with their students. At this time I was having trouble with some students submitting work. These activities worked well as a reward for the students who had submitted their assessment tasks as well as a good incentive for those who were lagging to complete their work.
